Manchester United will want to defeat Brighton & Hove Albion on the road in order to cap off their Premier League campaign on a positive note.

The Red Devils defeated Newcastle United 3-2 at Old Trafford on Wednesday, but their weak goal differential has kept them behind the Magpies for seventh place.

If United wins at Brighton and the Magpies lose at Brentford, they will have a chance to advance to the Conference League through the top flight.

Formation: 4-2-3-1

Predicted Line-up:

Andre Onana has participated in every minute of the Red Devils’ premier league campaign, and it is anticipated that he will start in goal once again ahead of Altay Bayindir.

Prior to the FA Cup final the following weekend, the Cameroonian star will be aiming for a clean sheet. There might be just one alteration made to the back four after the win against the Magpies.

Casemiro played well enough in central defence with Jonny Evans, but he should give way to Lisandro Martinez, who is more experienced. The Argentine is expected to make his first start following his return from injury.

Raphael Varane and Victor Lindelof were back in team training after respective injuries, but the duo could be introduced off the bench if required. Elsewhere, Aaron Wan-Bissaka and Diogo Dalot are pretty much nailed-on starters from the full-back positions for United.

Sofyan Amrabat has impressed a section of the fans with his solid performances against Arsenal and Newcastle and he should get the nod over Casemiro in the number six role. Kobbie Mainoo looks set to continue from the central midfield position alongside him.

Further forward, Amad Diallo is likely to feature on the right wing ahead of Antony based on recent form. He scored a brilliant goal from the edge of the box against the Magpies. Alejandro Garnacho deserves a breather, having started consistently this year.

Marcus Rashford could make his first start since the FA Cup semi-final on the left wing. Bruno Fernandes is an assured starter from the number 10 position. Rasmus Hojlund should lead the line after scoring off the bench against the Magpies on Wednesday night.
