Premier League defender is ‘open’ to a move amid interest from Manchester United

Manchester United get huge boost as summer target is now ‘open’ to leaving Premier League side

Premier League defender Jarrad Branthwaite is open to quitting Everton, according to The Standard (via Manchester Evening News), despite interest from Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur.

The 21-year-old has been a vital component of Sean Dyche’s lineup and has been in excellent form the entire season. The Toffees might not have been able to turn things around and escape relegation if it weren’t for him.

Still, Branthwaite is developing swiftly, and his performance has alerted many elite clubs. Even while Everton would want to have the 21-year-old on staff, their financial position may prevent them from doing so.

Manchester United intend to use Harry Maguire as bait to tempt Everton into selling Jarrad Branthwaite this summer.

The team has already lost points as a result of breaking FFP regulations. Everton may have to transfer Amadou Onana or Branthwaite this summer in order to avoid receiving any more fines.

If 777 Partners’ buyout is successful, the situation might alter, but there is a lot of ambiguity in that regard. Therefore, Man United’s opportunity to seize the 21-year-old from Everton is ideal.

But Branthwaite won’t be inexpensive. The player is valued at approximately €30 million by Transfermarkt, but the Toffees are hoping for an offer closer to €80 million. United may attempt to exert financial pressure on them, but if it fails, the team may have to go bankrupt.

The arrival of Jarrad Branthwaite has suddenlt started to look possible over the last few weeks. Hopefully, the Red Devils can close in on a deal for the 21-year-old this summer.s
