Report – Barca ready to sell attacker to Man Utd for £51.2million

Raphinha’s name is once again in the spotlight, and Manchester United should strengthen their right wing in the summer.

Barca is prepared to sell Brazilian winger Raphinha to Manchester United for £51.2 million, according to Spanish source Nacional.

United made an attempt to trade the former Leeds United attacker for Jadon Sancho back in December of last year. Ultimately, the England international went back on loan to Dortmund.

In the summer transfer window, Joan Laporta is prepared to sacrifice the Samba star and wants Nico Williams to take his position.

The president of Barcelona is reportedly requesting that Manchester United pay £51.2 million (60 million euros) in order to get Raphinha to Old Trafford, according to the Catalan news agency.

Before transferring to Spain, the 27-year-old established himself in England with the Elland Road team, where he won the La Liga title with the Blaugrana last season.

Despite being in and out of Xavi’s starting lineup this season, his stats remain remarkable.

The South American winger has made 25 starts in all competitions so far, directly contributing to 21 goals (9 goals and 12 assists).

While right wingers like Greenwood and Sancho, who are on loan, may not have long careers at Old Trafford, Antony and Amad have not lived up to expectations.

Raphinha would be a perfect fit, and Man Utd should purchase a quality RW as a result.

In your view, should Man Utd pay £51.2million to secure his signing?
