Report: Man United very impressed by Premier League manager and prefer him to Thomas Tuchel

Manchester United might have won the FA Cup but their manager Erik ten Hag is still facing an uncertain future at the club.

Ten Hag had his big day at Wembley, and he spoke passionately about his accomplishments with the team and his future plans in the aftermath.

That hasn’t prevented rumours about Ten Hag’s future, though, and after winning the cup final a few weeks ago, the United manager still doesn’t know for sure.

INEOS and Sir Jim Ratcliffe are now in charge of the ship, and several managers have been floated as Ten Hag’s possible successors.

Additionally, sources from today indicate that INEOS is interested in a certain Premier League manager.

Manchester United impressed with Thomas Frank as Thomas Tuchel interest wanes

The Independent reports that United is still looking for a new manager and that Ten Hag has not yet been decided upon.

Thomas Frank, the manager of Brentford, is reportedly one of the managers who has pleased INEOS and Ratcliffe’s team when it comes to who would succeed him.

Decision-makers at United are said to have taken a liking to Frank, while former Chelsea manager Thomas Tuchel has fallen down the list.

Tuchel’s and United’s board’s suggestions of a shift in philosophy have made the German less desirable.

The longer this rumbles on, the more problematic it will become for both the United players and fans.

And that’s not to mention how Erik ten Hag must be feeling.

In the end, United and their new board will have to decide on this. Ten Hag must be informed of events so that the club can make appropriate plans.

Thomas Frank is the man who is impressive, and he has shown this over the last few seasons at Brentford.

Only when he gets the chance will it be clear whether he can perform similarly at Manchester United, an enormous team.
