Sabrina Carpenter ‘leaks’ new Man Utd goalkeeper kit that’s being called the best in years

American singer-songwriter Sabrina Carpenter has been spotting wearing Manchester United’s soon-to-be-released goalkeeper shirt for next season – and it’s gone down a hit with fans.

The 25-year-old, who performed live at the O2 Apollo in Manchester this month, appears to have got her hands on the kit featuring new sponsor Snapdragon.

Pictured alongside fellow musician Griff, who announced that she will be supporting Carpenter on her latest tour, the popular actress posed in the new 2024/25 jersey.

Kit website FootyHeadlines suggest there will be a tricolor flag under the back collar, as well as the iconic trefoil logo that has featured on some of football’s most iconic kits.

The logo was originally used on kits in the 70s and 80s but will make a much-anticipated return in the coming months as Adidas focus on reviving their heritage.

Here’s how fans on social media reacted to the leaked Manchester United kit.

One said: “Still can’t believe they made our best kit in years and gave it to the goalkeeper,” while another commented: “Man, that should’ve been the third kit, it’s gorgeous.”

A third wrote: “So last year we had Aitch at Glastonbury, and now we have Sabrina. That is a nice-looking shirt.”

A fourth said: “Of all the people in the world to first be seen in United’s new goalkeeper shirt – Sabrina Carpenter? Looks good I must say,” and a fifth added: “That kit is fire.”

Back in September, United announced a deal with American technology company Qualcomm that will see its Snapdragon brand replace TeamViewer as their front-of-shirt sponsor from the start of next season
