“Sickening” – Mark Goldbridge stunned after hearing “embarrassing” Man Utd decision by INEOS

According to reports, Manchester United has communicated with the agents of other managers during the past three to four days. Mark Goldbridge, presenter of The United Stand, is not pleased with the way the club is handling Erik ten Hag’s future, branding the club’s brass as “embarrassing, unprofessional, indecisive, and disrespectful.”

In spite of their 2-1 victory over their bitter rivals Manchester City in the FA Cup final, Erik ten Hag’s appropriateness is being questioned by both the club’s boardroom executives and a portion of the fan base following a dismal season on all fronts.

Manchester United finished the campaign in eighth spot – their worst finish of the Premier League era – and are in major need of some wholesale changes over the summer transfer period – and the first change the club could make is their manager.

Goldbridge Calls Out Man Utd Hierarchy

‘Really sickening how the club is being run’

A number of behind-the-scenes adjustments have occurred at Manchester United since Sir Jim Ratcliffe’s minority interest was made official on Christmas Eve.

One significant choice that the 71-year-old tycoon and his team must make is what will happen to the Dutch manager going forward. Taking to X (previously Twitter), Goldbridge did not hold back in sharing his opinions and sentiments about the way his club was being governed.

Following Romano’s announcement that they had started talking to a number of managers’ agents, Goldbridge called Ratcliffe and Co.’s management style “really sickening.”

“Really sickening how the club is being run. Embarrassing, unprofessional, indecisive, disrespectful and not representative of the vast majority of the fans how they’re dealing with this. Shame.”

The main focus of Goldbridge’s problem is the extensive strategic evaluation, which started in February and hasn’t been concluded yet. Ten Hag, a manager who has won two major trophies in a two-year period, is in a situation of uncertainty due to the previously mentioned delay.

Journalist Ben Jacobs recently revealed exclusively to GIVEMESPORT that Ten Hag will “imminently” find out his destiny, and that Stan Collymore—a former Liverpool player—would prefer former Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur manager Mauricio Pochettino to Ten Hag.

Man Utd Target Three Positions

Branthwaite and Todibo on list of centre-back reinforcements

The first summer that Ratcliffe spends with Manchester United is going to be crucial. Ten Hag has had a significant influence over transfer negotiations since his arrival, as shown by their £86 million investment in an unsatisfactory Antony, but that might not be the case this time.

The Athletic claims that center-back, central midfield, and center-forward are the three areas that the Old Trafford team is prioritising this summer, demonstrating Ratcliffe’s desire to fortify his team’s spine.

England ace and Everton Manchester United’s top pick for the latter is Jarrad Branthwaite, but it’s believed that his signing could cost more than they’re ready to spend. Still, the Toffees’ Profit and Sustainability (PSR) position might work in their favour.

In light of Lisandro Martinez’s injury comeback and Raphael Varane’s departure, the report also implies that Jean-Clair Todibo, who has been available since last summer, is a target. Benjamin Sesko, who is connected to Arsenal, has also been carefully observed as a potential center-forward.
