Sir Jim Ratcliffe was reportedly ‘not amused’ by Alejandro Garnacho’s social media antics over the weekend. The Manchester United forward liked – and then unliked – tweets which took aim at manager Erik ten Hag after he was substituted off against Bournemouth on Saturday
The forward was replaced by Amad Diallo at halftime, which prompted Garnacho to like two separate tweets which questioned the decision and implied that Ten Hag was making tactical decisions based on the salary of each player.
The 19-year-old promptly unliked the tweets and United have insisted that the matter has been dealt with internally, amid fears that the forward would be exiled in a similar manner to Jadon Sancho. According to HITC, Ratcliffe is aware of the incident and ‘not amused’.
