Transfer of Manchester United player ‘nearing completion’ – 4-year contract on the table

The right back has in recent weeks been linked with a move away from Old Trafford following reports of interest from Galatasaray and also Fenerbahce.

Bein Sports Turkey today report Galatasaray are making good progress in negotiations to sign the Manchester United player, and the deal is ‘nearing completion’. It’s claimed a four-year contract has been offered to the 26-year-old and that he is keen to head to Istanbul. There are no reports of what level of transfer fee is being discussed, but recent claims in Turkey said Manchester United are holding out for more than €20m.

It’s reported Wan-Bissaka is the number one right back target for Gala, but if the deal was to fall through then Lorenz Assignon and Nordi Mukiele are seen as alternatives.

Wan-Bissaka made 30 apperances for the Premier League side during a season plagued by injury. He’s contracted to the Red Devils until June 2025 after they activated their year’s extension option in January.

The Turkish media can often be quite excitable when it comes to transfers so whilst the interest certainly seems there, there’s a chance Galatasaray are being overly optimistic and may struggle to agree a fee with Manchester United.
