Ipswich boss McKenna singles out ‘incredible’ Man Utd star who impressed him on Ruben Amorim debut

The former Manchester United assistant coach is earning a reputation as one of the best up and coming managers in the business – but the Red Devils job came too soon for him this time around.

Ruben Amorim was the latest ‘chosen’ one, taking over from Erik ten Hag, and his spell as head coach is now underway, beginning with a 1-1 draw away at McKenna’s Ipswich.

We noted ahead of the game that Amorim has the league’s most in-form goalkeeper, the current Golden Glove leader.

Onana was excellent and pulled off one outstanding save from Liam Delap, one of five total saves he made during the game.

Speaking post-game, McKenna told the Ipswich Starhe was impressed with the Manchester United goalkeeper.
