Contract Terminated Man United star to be replaced by surprise name as Man Utd’s highest earner as he leaves

Sancho’s future at Manchester United has been called into question following a public clash with manager Erik ten Hag.

The Dutchman chastised Sancho for being left out of the squad to face Arsenal before the international break.

“Jadon was [absent] on his performance in training,” Ten Hag explained.

“He was not chosen by us.” At Manchester United, you have to perform at a high level every day, and we may make decisions on the frontline, so he was not selected for this game.”

Sancho immediately responded with his own statement, saying, “Please don’t believe everything you read! I will not tolerate people stating things that are entirely false; I have performed admirably in training this week.

“I believe there are other reasons for this matter that I won’t go into, I’ve been a scapegoat for a long time which isn’t fair!”

On the back of this incident, Sancho has been linked with a move away from Old Trafford. If he does leave the club, someone else will take over as United’s top earner.

Currently, according to Spotrac, Sancho is the highest-paid player at United with a weekly wage of £350,000.

If the winger decides to continue his career elsewhere, he will be replaced at the top of the list by French defender Raphael Varane, who is reportedly earning £340,000 per week.

Midfielder Casemiro and forward Marcus Rashford are next on the list, with a weekly wage of £300,000.
