Real Madrid is unwilling to spend above £34 million for Lille wonderkid Leny Yoro, which gives Manchester United a boost in their attempt to recruit him.

Raphael Varane’s contract expires on June 30 and it is anticipated that he will go on a free transfer, therefore the Red Devils are looking to add a replacement center-back.

To replace the Frenchman, United might prefer a right-footed player, and it was recently rumoured that the team is vying with Real Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain for Yoro.

According to AS (page 16), Madrid is now up against United and Les Parisiens for the 18-year-old, but they won’t spend more than £34 million to get him.

Luis Enrique’s side are prepared to make a higher transfer offer and in our opinion, United should also make a similar approach for the highly-rated defender.

United need to lure Yoro amid his Real Madrid preference

Varane is an accomplished player who will be leaving United. Consider focusing on an up-and-coming talent rather than going for another well-known star who can command high salaries.

Yoro, who is just 18 years old and has a tonne of potential, would be a perfect match for the team. Despite not having the finest form towards the conclusion of the previous season, leading European clubs are still keeping an eye on him because of his excellent ball-playing skills.

Last term, the child’s passing accuracy was 92%, and he won 63% of his duels. Additionally, he averaged three clearances and 3.9 recoveries per game for Lille.

Lille will probably have to sell because his contract is set to expire in the summer. Yoro would want to sign with Real Madrid, but a deal could ultimately hinge on the price.

Les Parisiens want to make the most of this circumstance, and we believe that United should challenge the Ligue 1 heavyweights for the gifted Frenchman.

Should Madrid continue to hold their current position, Yoro might have to select a different team. With a starting position, we think United can win him over.

The young player can also be drawn in by the Premier League opportunity and the club’s well-known image.
