Peter Schmeichel refers to Ten Hag as a “baby coach” after his statement . How can you put a guy like Him On when you know your team needs goal?

The Red Devils led by two goals early on in Istanbul thanks to goals from Alejandro Garnacho and Bruno Fernandes, but Andre Onana caught him off guard with a botched free kick.

Scott McTominay gave United a two-goal lead once more in the second half, but Onana allowed another Ziyech free-kick to get past him before Kerem Akturkoglu’s strong shot tied the score.

Onana’s costly mistakes were condemned by Schmeichel, but he also believed that Ten Hag altered the outcome of the match by benching Hojlund in favour of Martial, whose carelessness gave Galatasaray the advantage.

I thought the back four played really well today. I don’t think they could have done much more, Schmeichel told CBS Sports.

“They played well, in my opinion, but the goalie made some really costly errors once again,”

“It is an objective and a reality every time a custodian commits a mistake.”

After giving it some more thought, I think that Sunday went really well. You must realise, though, that at this level, even the smallest mistake will cost you points.

We’ve led this tournament more than once, and when you’re ahead 2-0, “you kill the game.”

You need to be careful with the ball and not make mistakes, and today I had had enough of both.

Of course, you also have to take into account players like Hojlund, who significantly reduced the pressure at the front.

Ten Hag remarked of the new hire who produces nothing, “Whereas before you had someone who works really, really hard for the team up front, all of a sudden you don’t have that pressure.”

And that facilitates the opposition team’s ball-passing efforts greatly.

There are a multitude of choices to think about, but remember that if you score this many goals, you will likely receive more than one point.
